The opening match was not the kind of thing that I like watching too often, but there have been worse matches in AEW. I feel like all of the progress Lee Johnson has made in ROH the past few months was thrown to the side by having him easily lose a multi-man spotfest like this.
Kyle O'Reilly needs to clean up his appearance a bit, but that is just a small complaint. His overall style is not made for TV.
Matt Taven and Mike Bennett deserve so much better than just being the sidekicks to Roderick Strong, but at this point they are probably just happy to be in a big company on TV every single week.
