Seriously, the first few seasons, I really loved. It was about interesting cases, had characters I could genuinely care for and it was funny!
And then they just went downhill.
Killing of Melendez, which was followed by Antonia leaving took my favorite characters out of the show. The storylines just weren't as interesting, either.
Shaun was already getting worse storylines (sorry, whole yeah the body contact is sure an issue, I did not need to know as much as season 3 focused around it!).
We have previously seen him being stubborn and not a good teacher to others, and we're right back at that. Like he has not learned at all. Which is not consistent with his character. I kinda feel bad for not liking him anymore and just being annoyed, because I get they are going for a realistic approach. But it's the same over and over. And he definitely learned in the past, not saying as terrible things to patients, discussing treatment with the team first, there were many things he did wrong in season 1 and 2 that he learned from. Seems he also forgot about that, since he seems to think he never made any mistakes.
Lea thinking she's a bad mom, something else we have seen before, habe we not?
Only reason I am watching this is honestly because I saw that Antonia Thomas is back for the finale.
Just sucks Nick won't be, but that's a different story, I guess.
The only thing I enjoyed about this episode is the new Charly character! She seems fun and I for one (I assume most others are tired of it) enjoyed a bunch of Taylor Swift references! And Bejeweled playing in this episode.
Much like Shaun when he first got there, she's challenging things (like re-arring equipmen).
Maybe this character I can like for the nest fee episodes. I'm looking forward to her and Claire meeting, because we all know Claire was always great with Shaun.
