May 3rd is going to be one helluva night in Columbia, Maryland, as there will be a special screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master with some very special guests in attendance. And even better, it's for a great cause!
The event is being held with all proceeds going to help a four-year-old boy named Alex Baron, who is suffering from a very painful disease called Juvenile Dermatomyositis, so without a doubt this is an event worth attending.
To sweeten the pot even further, three of the beloved Nightmare girls, Tuesday Knight, Lisa Wilcox and Kelly Jo Minter, will be there as well doing a Q&A and signing autographs.
The event kicks off at 12 noon and will also feature a screening of Tuesday Knight's newest film, Opening Night. A silent auction will be held with loads of amazing items.
Tickets are $25 for the movies...

She tangoed with Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, and now Tuesday Knight is back with the all-new short film Opening Night from director / writer / producer Dakota A. Thomas. Even cooler? You can watch it right here, right now.
We are happy to premiere the short film in its entirety until 12:00 midnight tonight (February 21st)!
"I am not only a lifelong horror fan but admittedly a horrorholic," says director Dakota A. Thomas. "It was built into me from birth. I love telling the story that my first memory in life is watching 'Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday' in theaters at the age of three."
"My mom is to thank for being the sole reason that I've set my sights on such a unique career path. I grew up watching the classic horror films with her on Friday nights after school.

It’s not often that you run across aspiring genre directors who are still in their teens so when we discovered a brand new Kickstarter campaign for Carver, an upcoming indie slasher from the filmmaking team of Ron Diprimio and his 13-year-old daughter Emily Diprimio, we immediately took notice.
In the campaign, the Diprimios’ describe Carver as, “a throwback 80’s style slasher that follows a group of teenagers who are haunted by a despicable act they committed on Halloween when they were younger.
