The Sniper
claudio_carvalho9 February 2022
Matt is supplying provisions to the sentinels in the perimeter of Charleston. Hal is walking without crutches in the physiotherapy. Out of the blue, Crazy Lee is hit by a sniper and Pope sees that a bar has perforated her head when she fell down on the construction debris. Tom and Weaver find that the shooters are human and they capture the sniper that is unconscious. Anne takes a blood sample from Alexis and startles when she speaks and stands up in the cradle. She tells the secret to Lourdes that tells Tom that Anne has postpartum depression. Tom has a conversation with Anne and she tells she believes their daughter is not human, but he does not believe her. Hal wants to leave Charleston believing he is the mole, but Maggie stops him. When the sniper awakes, they learn their mission.

"Badlands" is an episode of "Falling Skies" where the great mystery is whether Anne is delusional or Alexis in not human. Hal seems to be the mole, but is hard to believe that he killed a human. Maggie has a point but Hal is also living a dilemma. Crazy Lee was a nice character and her loss was quite stupid. She deserved a better end. My vote is seven.

Charleston is Below Sea Level
kim_m_bauer3 May 2023
Not an accurate portrayal of Charleston. There are NO CAVES OR BASEMENTS in Charleston. Charleston is below sea level so there is NO WAY the colony in Charleston can possibly exist where the show says it does. The show says the Charleston community is in a mall underground. These is not physically possible as it would be under water. Also the signs on their way to Charleston are wrong. Plus the pan of the city skyline is taken from West Ashley point of view but the highway signs in the show indicate it is should be from the west. The actual view of downtown Charleston from the west would be warehouses not the iconic water skyline.
