A nice journey.

I enjoyed this nice journey in Tokyo: beautiful landscaps nd nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of Tokyo: the life of generations (Masataka as child, the uniform, the travel by train tothe school, then as student in a secondary school-the discipline and the cleaning of the school-, then as university student during 4 years, then as salaryman in a firm-the stress and the bar after the work and finally the retirement- the time for the rediscovery of the life, the tea ceremony, the spiritual life), the social changes of the Japanese women (the work, the unemplloyment, the divorce), the neighborhood of Yanaka (the little houses, the traders and thecraftsmen, Madame Keneko and her nephews-the spices made frm seaweeds, fishes and fruits-, Kazuo and the management of the sento-bathhouse-, the temple of the neighborhood).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Keiko in a boat-restaurant (the way to behave with Japanese people), wit h the artists in the Yoyogi-Koen park, with the girls dressed in "Nightmare style" , with the saleswoman in the kimono shop, with the "No" master in the theater, with the manager of the games center and and with Maggie (the excursion to Kamakura-the painter, the the Shintoist temple and the beach with the surfers-, and the visit of the old Buddhist temple of Tokio-the Senso-ji, the offefring of incense); very nice encouners with very kind Japanese men and women.
