This was a lot stronger than the first episode. We got a sense of where the loyalty of these characters lies, and see the kinds of story arcs that will play out the rest of the season.
They really went heavy on the space stuff, probably to the detriment of the entertainment value, but it was quite enjoyable. We obviously knew she would survive, but the lengths that they went to to make sure it played out and was a success was wild. I am surprised they couldn't immediately locate her though. You would think space would have nonstop satellites and everything and could easily track the spot anyone might land.
