Enigmatic, even cryptic drama in the series
lor_9 July 2019
Though leaving off any writing credit on screen, director James Avalon keeps the viewer guessing in this surprisingly subtle and suspenseful entry in the Sweet Sinner series.

Asa Akira has one of her better roles, and is beautifully photographed as the newest secretary hired by import/export magnate Mark Wood, replacing an incompetent predecessor played by Andy San Dimas. It turns out that Andy is scheming with Mark's partner Rocco Reed to steal from him and cut him out of the business, but it turns out that Asa is the principal threat to the other players.

Even after the final money shot and conclusion to the show, one is left wondering what really has happened and what are the true motives of our enigmatic heroine. Avalon carefully provides clues along the way, principally involving her various near suicide attempts (shown as an homage to Damiano's classic "Devil in Miss Jones"), but he keeps things ambiguous enough to make the video a genuine head-scratcher.

Asa is magnificent, and supporting femmes San Dimas and in flashback Kristina Rose are hotties as well. Major flaw is casting of Wood in the principal male role, s the self-professed gonzo specialist's acting is poor.
