"The Tenure Turbulence" was another hilarious ep of "The Big Bang Theory"

In this recent ep of "The Big Bang Theory": A tenured professor has died leaving the position open for Leonard, Sheldon, and Raj. So they all try to suck up to Mrs. Davis. Yes, the same one Sheldon unknowingly offended in a previous episode. Amy offers her services since she's a fellow instructor but Penny has the sex appeal to get the rise out the rest of the elderly male committee. Of course, it's Kripke they're all keeping their eye on...This was another hilarious ep of the show with a welcome return of Regina King as Mrs. Davis. Sheldon is hilariously as clueless as ever but Leonard does some great physical comedy when he tries to exercise on a workout machine next to Mrs. Davis. So on that note, "The Tenure Turbulence" was another very funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory".

Competition Is Good for the Soul

Dr. Tupperman dies and no one notices for two weeks. So a tenured position comes up. The three PhD's begin to vie for it. Each has his own motivation for pursuing the position. Their efforts are really hilarious, especially giving the black Human Relations person a copy of "Roots." They are all so inept when it comes to simple human interactions they should have no chance at all. But each of them is superb.

Warning: Spoilers
The guys of the gang this week all fight to have their job for a lifetime which brings back Kripke and Janine played by Regina King. The episode did have some funny moments especially the quirkiness of Sheldon as he called out Janine on being black as well as getting into a fight with Raj and Leonard over the reason they went to the memorial service to win over the board selecting the person for the position. As I say it was funny especially how they once again use the women characters better and in funnier ways even though they are used less in episodes then the men. Ultimately Sheldon was used the best in the episode as he continues to look bad for people which this week was actually used for some decent humour.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Jim Parsons)
