When you use AI, you get this

It did not take me one minute to realize this documentary was going to be horrid. The fact that pretty much everything was done with AI should have been enough warning. However, I didn't get to see just how bad it was until I started watching it.

"Bigfoot, Mothman and the Chupacabra: The Cryptid Files" is a documentary that was performed almost completely with artificial intelligence software. You can tell by the horribly rendered images, the stilted script, and the lack of charisma in the AI "voice." Even if you didn't know this was AI, the lack of inflection and charm would have been a dead giveaway that this wasn't going to be a fun watch. Leaving the writing, illustrations, voice-over, etc. To a machine gives you a half-baked product. And it's distressing and disappointing that more and more people like director Brian Cummingham are jumping on the bandwagon. Each time I see the poorly rendered images and poorly written/voiced script, I struggle believing people when they say "AI is the future."

"Bigfoot, Mothman and the Chupacabra: The Cryptid Files" is the definition of a no effort production. When you put AI in the mix, the end product is going to be soulless and unimaginative. Human writers, illustrators, and voice-over artists will always be superior; and this film proves that point because it did the exact opposite of that.
