Worst movie ever
lalavan6 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The acting was atrocious to say the least. Can we talk about how Mae the lead is an absolute pick me. Like are you actually serious. She not only couldn't get the hint that norman didn't want her from the beginning, but she couldn't get the hint when he got a whole gf. Girl stand up fr. Not only did Mae make a blog to "expose" norman's bf but she made up lies and rumors to try and her ruin her because she wanted her man. DO NOT GET ME STARTEDDDD. Oh and did i mention when julia (norman's gf) confronted her, mae kissed norman cause her delulu self thought he wanted her. Oh ma gawd bruh she deserves no happy ending fr, she's the real villain.

Don't bother watching

Warning: Spoilers
Acting - 1 Story - 1

First, the character, Mae. Is she crazy? Seeing things and living in a fantasy world?

Second, Mark. Doesn't make sense to have an imaginary ex boyfriend.

Norman - is he supposed to be autistic? Meet-cute in a grocery store while he was arranging the sardine cans? Didn't carry on with his character.

Imaginary but she can take his coffee mug, throw things at him, slap him...? Seriously, doesn't make sense at all.

I almost couldn't finish the movie because of how senseless the story is and how bad the acting was. The effects were bad, too.

And what kind of girl would bring a guy home to such a disgusting place???? Worse than a hoarders house.

This is a trainwreck of a movie that I unfortunately had no choice to watch

The downside of living with someone is that sometimes you have to subject yourself to their preferences.

Unfortunately I did.

Where do I start?

Is it the god-awful tiktok acting of the Miles Ocampo?

The poor misuse of Matet De Leon and her pedigree of acting?

The wasted talents of JC Santos and Chienna Filomeno who carried this movie?

The sexual harassment done by the so-called protagonist to her "love interest?" Physical violence? Bullying?

All of this. This movie is an un-feministic piece of trash media.

She did not even make amends to the people she HURT. She should've been arrested.

The first time I watched something on netflix at 2x speed Warning: Spoilers
Some of the characters were irrelevant to the plot as removing them would still not affect the movie in any way. Male Lead's ocd or spectrum was also irrelevant to the story nor was it addressed. I don't know why it was even highlighted in the first few scenes. It was not even consistent nor the main highlight of his personality as a character.

The Female Lead's acting was cringe. Her mouth that kept on moving was distracting and her character was written like a pick me girl. She was so obnoxious and out of touch. She seemed like she needs serious help with how she was portrayed especially with the "imaginary ex"

A lot of good actors but the script was meh as well as the plot. You could see the plot twist and climax a mile away. I didn't even bother finishing it.

Everything can be improved and I wish they took their time to actually make it good.

Poor Acting
menzki9 June 2023
The acting was sooo bad and a bit over the top. I feel at the edge of my seat whenever 'kuya green' is acting. I'm not sure if he's on the spectrum or anything, if his character was supposed to be portrayed like that. The way he speaks out his dialogues makes me cringe so much. Even grocery girl's emotions were very exaggerated. Her voice reminds me of Ruffa Mae Gutierrez. There were heaps of times when the camera angles just cuts off the actors / actress faces. You could honestly tell this movie is low budget. I couldn't even finish the movie. I really can't handle pinoy rom-com. Such a waste of time.

Relatable
arigathanks13 June 2023
At first, I thought I wouldn't appreciate the movie but as I have given it more time, the movie grew on me. It is so relatable for teens and it has deeper message beyond what can be seen and heard. It has it's own take about moving on and mental health in general, although the theme was not something new, It felt fresh for me. I agree that the acting can still be improved, but what do you expect from a romcom? It's supposed to be all over the top and cringey sometimes. I'd say it is a perfect romcom for me, but we all have preferences. I'd say, just give it a try, maybe you'll like it as well!

Too generic
greekdx26 July 2023
This is possibly the only movie from Philipines in Netflix showing a VERY generic movie of todays love story under the usage of social media.

A very arrogant unmature and selfish girl is looking the ways on how to allure and continue kepping an young man using the most wrong methods and 'dissing' her love envy, using the Facebook way. To notice also her ex friend continued to be as "a ghost" in her home helping her on how to get better with the person she loves.

Interesting story that has nothing to show anything from the todays Manila given with a very bad way if not inadmissible. Poor level dialogues as acting. Moral however is still clearly shown as subtext under the subplots with some other clear messages of human relations . As in result she finally was again more isolated.

This movie has been seen for the difference. I was expecting something more interesting from the life in Philipines.
