"What about Effie?" "...we broke up." Tariq really growing up in this episode! You can see the character development and him becoming more and more like Ghost. The way he handled Effie, giving her another chance to tell the truth before he snapped out on her. She tried to trauma dump on him and give him a sob story to get out of it but Riq read right through that! Effie showing up to Diana's room tryna go behind his back just for Riq to be in there was gold! And I'm glad Salim goofy ass finally got humbled and taken off his wanna be moral high horse. Cane gon put it together that Monet basically ordered that hit too and is really going to be the head of the family. Diana might kill Monet down the line...

Alot happened this episode.. could feel the stakes getting higher between the characters. Tariq definately really steped up this episode, felt like this was a bit of a turning point for the character. The scene between Tariq n Effie was intense.. but i'm curious to see where the dynamic goes from here. Does she have to worry about Tariq plotting against her?. Does Brayden have to worry about Tariq?. Given the history between these three it wouldn't be so easy to cutt them off completely. Cane is gonna be Cane ...scheming on Tariq through Effie n Brayden, determined to be on the top and have his empire. Don't forget he ordered a hit on tariq in Season 1...not to be taken likely at all. Saxe real MVP for not lying to lauren and telling her the thruth about Tariq , what will she do with this info now?..It's hard to see a way out for her character. Overall really good episode..Hyped to see next episodes n season play out.
