This episode was once again better than the last. Why? It was one of the funniest episodes I've watched in anime in a long time.
Mashle has been great so far. Original? Far from it! Everything in this show references other fantasy anime or Harry Potter. But it plays to these tropes well, and in this episode it really showed how introducing muscles into a magical world could be convenient.
I think this felt like 2 shorter episodes rather than a whole one. But both were laugh out loud funny. Especially the latter half. Reading the manga, it's fun to see characters slowly introduced.
Besides comedy, I think I love the animation of the show. It's cartoon style and light, but they use framing well and in important moments they step it up.
All I can say in general about the show is how nice it is watch this. It's so low maintenance and so much fun. A great episode.
