Quid Pro...No!
Hitchcoc24 October 2021
Two plot elements. We go on from Raj's encounter with Lucy. He goes on and on about himself only to have something dramatic happen. We find him later, stuck in his apartment, depressed and hopeless. The other thing is Penny helping Sheldon with Fun With Flags. Leonard tells Sheldon he owes her at least a thank you. Eventually, it leads to the gang going to Penny's performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire." They gush over Penny, but her performance is rather dull. Tennessee Williams is the star.

Warning: Spoilers
.Raj and Lucy have coffee together after they meet at the comic book store and get along until she unexpectedly runs off. Raj gets depressed and won't leave his apartment. Howard takes a note to Raj from Lucy with her phone number on it. They get together and find that both of them have social skill problems and agree to another date. Raj looks hot in those tight sweatpants where his bulge is visible clearly , also in last the scene in those little white tight undies running on the road. He is really handsome and cute with his dark looks. Raj and Lucy have coffee together after they meet at the comic book store and get along until she unexpectedly runs off. Raj seems to take a big step concerning romance in "The Monster Isolation" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm22 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
After blowing off his comic store friends in last week's ep with a female patron who he offered coffee to, Raj and Lucy (Kate Micucci) seem to have a nice chat with Raj finishing his college education story and then asking about her life. Lucy excuses herself to go to the restroom but actually ditches him leaving Raj to drown himself in misery in front of Howard, Leonard, and Bernadette. Meanwhile, Sheldon has Penny co-host "Fun with Flags" with him which seems to go well enough that-under Amy's advisement-has him thank her. So Penny invites them to see her performance of A Streetcar Named Desire which doesn't thrill Sheldon since he still thinks she's not a good actress based on past performances. I'll stop there and just say that this was the most touching of recent eps of "The Big Bang Theory" especially concerning the fate of Raj. His possible romance with Lucy seems a big step for him here. Of course, there's still plenty of funny stuff to keep things from getting too sentimental but still, "The Monster Isolation" is perhaps one of the most touching of this still very entertaining series.

The Big Bang Theory The Monster Isolation
dalydj-918-25517524 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Raj is my least favourite character on the show and the whole episode being about his depression over a girl was just awful especially since he had no chance with the girl. Sheldon is a bad character nowadays and while he did have some funny moments but overall nothing he did was memorable. The ending with everyone praising Penny for being in A Streetcar Named Desire as funny because she did nothing special with the role not even changing her voice. There were some good one liners but overall the episode was another weak one and I'm not excited what they do with Raj going out on a dates with a girl who has her own problems with dating even though he wants to beat her with his many, many problems.

EPISODE GRADE: D- (MVP: Jim Parsons)
