Low Rent rubbish

This could have been such a great series, but it drops the ball big time.

I can excuse the cheap editing/filming devices if the budget is low - e.g. A study of Australian murders is full of 1970s stock footage of Sydney interspersed with stock video of the unfortunate presenter driving around BRITISH roads aimlessly.

But, unforgivably,the content is piss-poor, and five minutes worth of information is interminably dragged out to fill in the time. The same bit of gossip is repeated multiple times by multiple people, then repeated again after every ad break. There is very little guts to these "documentaries" and no educational or entertainment value at all.

Waste of time, and frustrating to try to watch.

I really like these types of programmes and I really tried to like this one too. Unfortunately the presenter seems to be bent on showing his own disgust with the perpertrators that he is not coming across as professional. I just can't take him seriously. Also the psychologist always seems to have a permanent grin on her face. These people give the whole programme an unserious flavour and never seem to be reporting on the cases from an obective perspective. It would seem that the producers are trying to capitilize on the format of the "Faking It" series but have certainly missed the mark. Such a shame.

WTF is this scripted crap?

Terrible! It really is, when you know what to look for!

'They are criminals' 'They are selling 'drugs'... What? Literally NO context!

Pathetic!

No amount of 'suspensful music', can save it!

We are given NO details, just that 'certain plants are illegal, therefore 'dangerous' 'Some cops are bad, but ALWAYS, the 'white. Straight' ones!

'It doesn't matter , as HE was a 'criminal', selling 'drugs', therefore putting him behind bars 'saves lives', etc!

You get the drift!

It goes on and on!

Cue MORe 'suspensful music' A woman pretending to cry, telling us how cannabis 'destroyed her family' Well timed pics of random people, hugging and pretending to be sad!

Horrendous!
