This film captures from the beginning... mythical views of forest and the sea.. ethereal sounds of our ancestors and grey/dark/alien nature... anyone who is from northern hemisphere (from countries with cold climate) - can relate to this film which can sometimes look grim, grey and sad but on the other hand - it's part of our own nature. The silence of early winter, the sounds of cracking ice... this film really opens up the world of sounds and helps us listen... i think we live in the world which full of noise and this film help to listen... the main character, Audrius, repeats several times how it's important to listen instead of talking... he somehow helps us appreciate that silence of nature... and helps us to find silence within us.
