Watchable, but lacking in comedy and horror...

When I read the synopsis for this 2022 Thai horror comedy titled "Fearless Love", I must admit that I wasn't instantly won over. Why? Well, I am not big on the whole social media influencer thing, as it is a downright laughable concept. But since this was a Thai horror comedy that I hadn't already seen, and given the history of Thai horror comedies, of course I opted to give the movie a chance nonetheless.

The storyline in "Fearless Love" was pretty straight forward, however the movie was somewhat lacking in the comedy department, and the horror aspect to the storyline wasn't all that impressive. Yet, I still managed to sit through all 122 minutes that the movie ran for.

The acting performances in the movie were fairly good. I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble, though I will say that leading actor Dan Worrawech Danuwong and leading actress Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha did carry the movie well enough.

Visually then "Fearless Love" was adequate. The special effects were fair enough, though nothing outstanding. However, what did work well in favor of the movie was the setting and the scenery, because it was genuinely adding to a somewhat dark and brooding atmosphere in the movie.

There are far better and more enjoyable horror comedies in the Thai cinema, so "Fearless Love" wasn't really an outstanding foray.

My rating of director Dan Worrawech Danuwong's 2022 movie lands on a four out of ten stars.

Warning: Spoilers
Thai comedy horror movie with additional of romantic scenes because this movie tells about a couple Din and Ploy have to pretend they are still in love with each other for the final content for a major diamond ring manufacturer before the offcial breakup In this event, both of them gritted their teeth to show fake love. Reclaim the rating Until he accidentally met with Boriboon, a famous life coach who used the baby as a tool for living.

The happy ending scene is the part of this movie. Acting from lovey-dovey couple "Din" (Worrawech Danuwong) and "Ploy" (Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha) was really entertaining.

A cool blend between scary and funny; I recommend it

I watched this film without any expectation and it turned out to be surprisingly entertaining. I burst out laughing many times and got my hair standing up at creepy scenes too. I really like the way they can make the atmosphere and setting super scary but the characters can be wickedly funny in their acts and dialogue. I enjoyed the whole thing, no boring moment. And I also like the romance in the final part (maybe it's because the two main leads are true lovers in their real life...making them look naturally cute and sweet together.) If you are a Thai, you know that ALL of the actors and actress played in this film are professional and talented well-known stars. So you can really count on them in their acting. They know exactly what they are doing. This is one of the best factor because you can just enjoy watching them interact and just laughed. This is a comedy and it's funny, really.

Another plus for this film is the creation of the haunted house, the creepy atmosphere and the ghosts. The visual, the sound and the special effects come together and deliver the feel of a real horror movie. So it's like having your hair stood up while at the same time laughing out loud.

The story is ok. The romance added in the end was just about right, not too much. I also like the twist about the ghost.

All together, this is one entertaining piece of work. I've never watched a film directed by Dan Worawet before, but now I admire him as a director.

A bumbling YouTube couple on the verge of breaking up connects with a slimy motivational speaker to combat an irate ghost harboring ancient secrets.
