Be careful who you flirt with.

Warning: Spoilers
Spector really is a piece of work, we get to see how he tracks his victims, his selection process, what he does, and what he enjoys after the event, we also get an insight into The Detective chasing him, and some of what she enjoys doing in her downtime.

It is deliciously dark and engaging, what makes it all the more fascinating is Spector, he is surely a guy that could have anyone he wanted, he'd have women throwing themselves at him, but he's only really turned on by his secret, deadly perversion.

The second episode is excellent, it builds on from the first, we learn more about the two main players, and get new characters added in to the mix. Gibson's liaison adds another level of complexity to the story.

It's very cleverly done. 8/10.

Absurd sexual liaison ruins episode

In an otherwise great episode, the absurd sexual liaison ruins it. Any senior investigating officer who wants to keep their job knows bloody better than to openly inviting a junior officer to her hotel room for sex while in the front of other police officers. Totally unbelievable.

A brilliant series let down by rediculous sexual liaisons.

The fall is one the best serial killers you will see.

This episode exposes one fundamental flaw.

You've got a chief superintendent who acts in the most unprofessional manner in her private life. I can't accept that some with such a close fetish for detail in her professional career would ever act in such a potentially career destroying manner.

Maybe this aspect of her lifestyle are in their to Garner higher viewing figures. Just as high levels of swearing also attracts the attention of people.

This aspect of the series really compromises its integrity.

The fall is a 10 star series that's let down by these totally gratuitous and unnecessary elements.
