Sci-fi action episode flick - Crossbow kicks ass!
ivo-cobra815 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Crossbow is a satellite that can fire a particle beam and Percy (Xander Berkeley) get's the hands on it. Robbie (Bug Hall) from the first season episode 7 "The Recruit" returns and steals three 20-year-old motherboards relevant to Project Crossbow, a missile defense satellite, from an Air Force base. We finally finds out, what happened with Robbie (Bug Hall) after he killed several guards in the division, he become a member of the cleaners. Here is the second time Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) faces off with Robbie.

Percy's full name Percival Rose is for the first time revealed in this episode. It is also referenced to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope when Birkoff discovers the damage that the Crossbow satellite can inflict, he says that Percy has control on his own death star. Before Nikita and the others leave, Birkhoff tells her "May the Force be with you". Here is the first time we see Birkoff kissing Nikita on her mouth, it is beautiful. This episode was again directed by Danny Cannon who also directed Dredd (1995) Sylvester Stallone's flick and horror sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

This is also the first part of the season finale storming an attack on Division from Nikita and Michael, while Alex and Sean storm the farm which is actually a cover up for the Division. Sean and Alex find Robbie at a nuclear reactor and capture him. However he escapes, and activates a device before Sean kills him. They believe the device sends the satellite to fire the weapon at the facility, and the two escape before it explodes. Percy uses the weapon as leverage to blackmail the President, Charles Grayson (Cameron Daddo), into backing out of a peace treaty between Afghanistan and the Taliban, or he would use the satellite again. Nikita, having decides that she is "not running anymore", decides to return to Division. While Sean and Alex subdue the sentries (they must be kept alive otherwise Division is alerted of a breach), Nikita and Michael enter Division through the hatch Nikita escaped through previously in "All the Way". One of the sentries kills the other, alerting Division of Nikita's presence, just as she destroys the servers controlling Crossbow.

I seriously love this episode which is a science fiction action flick about a satellite, that wasn't used in 20 years and now Percy has a control over that satellite, because he is planning to destroy our planet. You have an explosion in research reactor and Alex with Sean flees on a motorcycle that was awesome! You have mentioned film Star Wars and use of their own satellite Crossbow in this show, that was brilliant and cool. I am really surprised on this Episode and on the writer Andrew Colville creating his own idea of the two part story telling. Episode Homecoming is part two of the season that ends with a twist and we finally get to the closure.

I am giving this episode 10 out of 10 everyone in this episode did an amazing job, I still can't wait for third season than I am going on fourth season, that it has only 6 Episodes. I will really miss this show. I liked Sean and Alex's chemistry, and I look forward to seeing them again. It's a shame today that more people don't watch this show and ends unexpectedly by Season 4 just like Alias ended it but at least Alias had 5 seasons and 105 Episodes while Nikita only has 73 Episodes with four seasons, really a shame to a wonderful TV show.

In this season Alex did got her revenge on Sergei Semak and she even didn't pull a trigger, she also did saved her mother Katya Udinov played by awesome actress (Sarah Clarke) who also played Nina Myers on beloved TV show 24 (2001). We fond out more about Michael that he has a son Max with Cassandra Ovechkin (Helena Mattsson) she is MI6 and she is a double agent, she works for Gogol as the mole. this season was perfect I love it. We even found out more about Nikita and new relationships with Michael. I love it to death!
