This film is great with beautiful photography and music. The slightly poetic narration running over visual motifs of death, decay, and destruction give the film an almost romantic feel. As if there is something romantic and timeless about the conflict between nature and civilization, creation and destruction, and life and death. Does the woman look back at a city she once knew as a child? Does she recognize its decay and conflicts with nature. We can't be sure. The filmmakers should be proud for creating this nice film. I hope it is finding an audience somewhere out in the world. I would like to believe it won't just run the festival circuit and then quit. Bravo. Look forward to more.
