Saint Kate goes on tour
studioAT5 August 2023
Thank you as ever to Amazon for saving 'Neighbours' and allowing us fans to see old episodes like this one again.

Andrew shows he's very much a Robinson, playing the tunes from his dad's playbook by manipulating Sophie (not an overly strong character) to say with a boy because he wants something from his brother.

Summer is a much better character than both of these two combined, so her involvement brightened things considerably.

I'm not keen on what they are doing with the character of Kate. This 'rebellion/independence' drive she seems to be on seems out of character, and isn't being well explored. Teaming her now with Erin, another wet blanket, doesn't seem wise either.

Overall though, a good episode.

"When you said secret boyfriend, I thought I heard warning bells"

Warning: Spoilers
Sophie finds herself beginning to tire of Corey:The scene of him trying to act cool in front of her is brilliantly awkward.Andrew and Summer both advise her to give him a second chance...until Summer learns Andrew said it as well, at which point she changes her mind. It's nice to see Andrew and Sophie working out a deal between themselves.

There seems a bit too much focus on Kate looking miserable in the first part of this episode but it picks up a bit when she encounters Erin and they end up going a bit Thelma and Louise.Let the fun begin.

Priya is shaking up to be a good counterpoint to Paul and it's nice that she's now principal, it should make things interesting.
