Jason Momoa will get some help defending Atlantis against interlopers from a teenage warrior—Deadline reports that Ludi Lin, who played the Black Ranger in the rebooted Power Rangers, has joined the cast of Aquaman. Lin is set to play Murk, the leader of the Men-of-War, which is like the Atlantean infantry. He’s also Aquaman’s “trusted ally,” and will help Arthur Curry battle his half-brother Orm Marius (a.k.a Ocean Master), who’s played by Patrick Wilson, as well as Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta.
This is a huge move for Lin, especially considering Power Rangers didn’t exactly bowl over audiences during its theatrical run this year. His other recent credits include a guest spot on Marco Polo and a TV movie called Holiday Spin. Now he’s playing a royal confidant in James Wan’s entry in the Dceu, which will bow December 21 ...

Garrett Clayton is making a splash in Hollywood (pun intended)!
The young actor, who plays Tanner, the sun-bleached lead surfer in the Disney Channel original movie Teen Beach Movie (premiering Friday), is best known for roles on Disney's Shake It Up, Days of Our Lives and a lead role in the Lifetime TV movie Holiday Spin.

Eddie Izzard is joining the list of actors who have participated in multiple Bryan Fuller shows. EW has the scoop that Izzard will play a guest role on Hannibal as a patient at the hospital where Hanibal Lecter will eventually be imprisoned.
TV Guide and Vulture have put together their list of characters they'd like to see one more time before 30 Rock's final act. Who do you want to return? I'm shocked neither list has Kim Jong-Il.
CBS wants even more Elementary. It's ordered two more episodes. There was also bad news for Vegas fans, which will get one less episode to tell its story.

There are many things that make Steven Spielberg's 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial' -- thirty years old this year -- a magical masterpiece: a sensitive script, fantastic special effects (it's often easy to forget the title star is a mechanical puppet), John Williams' uplifting score. But one of the most over-looked aspects is the cast.
Eschewing big name stars and established child actors, Spielberg discovered a raft of talent, young and old, that do much to make 'E.T.' such an emotional experience. Here are their 'E.T.' stories and what happened next....
E.T. is 30 years old - hard to believe, but true
Henry Thomas (Elliott Taylor)
That was then: "I used to think 'If I mess this up, what's going to happen?'" recalls Henry Thomas about his days as the lead in 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial'. "'Are they going fire me? I'm nine years old.
