She's a national disgrace. Fun start.

Tired of Princess Georgiana's drunken antics, The Royal family pack her off to Australia.

This definitely takes a swipe at Britain's so called standing in The World, arguably more so Australia's view of Britain.

Let's be honest, this has been roasted, but with Catherine Tate you get a definite brand of humour, and it's a brand I've always enjoyed.

Georgiana is a national laughing stock, she's so bad that she's been packed off, I thought this was funny, and oh my days the references to the current ahem..... State of affairs.

Annabelle and Zoe delivered some cutting one liners, funny.

Princess p*** pot, I spat my coffee out, there were some cracking one liners.

The planet of the tiny doll hands, possible reference to the upcoming DW specials? Who knows.

7/10.

Catherine Tate's new comedy vehicle as her starring as Princess Georgiana. The hard drinking, hard partying enfant terrible of the British monarchy.

An incident where she throws up at a schoolgirl in a visit to a high school seems to the final straw with the monarchy, the media and the British public.

Princess Georgiana is shipped off to Australia, metaphorically. She arrives as the new Queen of Australia, wearing a warm jacket. Her dim lady in waiting Anabel assumed it will be cold in January in Australia.

The only issue is, her Australian staff dislike her because they are Republicans and Georgina does not even bother to learn their names.

Essentially a fish out of water comedy. The opening episode paints Princess Georgiana as selfish, moronic and an unlikeable drunk. Not really a stretch for Tate's comedy persona. I noted that the first episode managed to insert a timelord gag.

I guess the character will be softened in later episodes. I just did not find it that funny or satirical.
