The NXT Takeovers have certainly come a long way and not for the better. These episode used to be can't miss and now I could barely care about it anymore. Too many matches signed the week before with no build and others that make no sense.
Bron Breakker is a future superstar, but he is not good enough in the ring to handle a long match like this. Tyler Bate should have been pushed as a top guy a long time when he was stealing the show against Pete Dunne. For some reason NXT/WWE never got fully behind him.
Mandy Rose is killing the women's division, not helping it. Just keeping her as Champion to pad some meaningless title reign stat does not make a whole lot of sense. You need a better competitor in there to elevate her opponents and make the matches actually worth seeing.
