Plot-heavy, over-the-top episode is highly entertaining

The unnamed auteur (Dan O'Connell, anyone?) of this eighth part of Girlfriends' legal soap opera pulled out all the stops, and the result is an explosive, hilariously overdone combo of sex & dramatics that even Susan Lucci might love. Except of course that it is pornographic.

I was able to identify the many talented ladies who get zero credit, contributing fine acting but not involved in the XXX footage. Georgia Jones as the law firm's untrustworthy receptionist is on hand throughout, scheming and causing trouble and certainly ready to have sex in another episode.

Story as always resolves around the head dragon lady, played to the hilt by the inimitable India Summer, who truly delights in screwing both clients and co-workers alike, both figuratively and literally. After a couple of minutes of useful recap footage (not about sex but about key plot details already transpired), we are introduced to a bombastic new character Jessica Bangkok, a big shot who insults India but is hired to kick ass at the firm by Summer, and first road-tested in a hot sex scene in which Jess physically dominates India, no small feat.

Key player is both story and two strong sex vignettes is Nyomi Banxxx as Hollywood star T.J. Woodcress, suffering through a major divorce scandal from her equally busty wife Devon Lee. Avy Scott tries to be all-business as T.J.'s lawyer, but Nyomi is sexually insatiable, fortunately for the fans, and won't sign any papers or listen to Avy's spiel until they've had sex together.

Michelle Lay and Allie Haze, neither credited, return to complain to meanie Summer, and are both read the riot act, while India gets her comeuppance from Attorney General Dia Zerva, memorably quite physical as she chokes and spanks India into submission in a rough sex scene in India's office.

India's nemesis at the office Samantha Ryan keeps popping up and getting humiliated (including no screen credit), while lovely Capri Anderson shows up as one of T.J.'s many wronged mistresses, only to get sexually harassed (and loving it) by new legal boss Bangkok. No screen credit for Capri, since softcore sex doesn't mean a thing at Girlfriends Films, apparently.

Show reaches a memorable climax when Devon and T.J. accidentally meet up at the firm, due to Lesbian Legal (and India's) unscrupulous practice of representing both sides on a legal matter. Violence erupts, well staged and acted, leading to Nyomi and Devon put in a Time Out room to chill, which results in a happy ending for the nonce, as the busty duo settle their differences the only way possible, with Sapphic sex.

What separates this feature from most Girlfriends Films is the presence of a carefully designed screenplay - so obvious a plus that one wonders why O'Connell and company have failed to make that minimum requirement an essential part of their still "winging it" production philosophy.
