This show is having a strong third season and I won't lie and say I did not laugh at all here tonight, but this was clearly the weakest offering of the year. There were no major developments in any of the key arcs, and they tried to forcefeed an emotional moment with Poppy realizing her struggles to get adulation and how much it impacts her, but the viewers never really bought in. They need to be a bit stronger with the writing when trying to switch from comedy to a more dramatic tone.
There are still some laughs here, but this is not the kind of quality we expect from Mythic Quest on a given Friday.
