Yes, there are 'better' episodes of Hunter X Hunter. But this one to me is pure joy. The characters introduced in this episode are able to create this spontaneous-ness that is so much fun and exciting to watch. In this episode especially, you feel as if you are on the journey with the main characters, and not just watching it from a distant point of view. Episode 6 reveals more quality character traits from the main crew and adds in hilarious lines from our new Hunters that we get to meet. From the joy of the music to the aura that is created from the characters and setting, this is a perfect, perfect episode.

This episode did not have much to it. People may view this episode as 'joyous' yet there is nothing that actually makes it that good. The Challenge is boring and a bad concept, it is veering off the main plot and is quite irrelevant episode in my opinion.
There is not much character development or dialogue, not much emotion and it made the episode quite meaningless and irrelevant.
Summary: The next challenge is underway and the woman in charge forces them to catch wild pigs. However when the woman who wants them to cook the pigs has too much picky taste, the task is changed. Chairman Netero is introduced and starts to take them to phase 3 of the exam.
