Mark McGrath may be one of the nicest guys in Hollywood, and it's paid off -- though he's still going out on the road with Sugar Ray as part of the Under the Sun tour kicking off in June, he's also found a second career in front of the cameras. He'll be appearing in "Sharknado 2: The Second One" on July 31 (9:00 p.m. on Syfy). Melinda and I (who could not get "Fly" out of our heads pretty much the entire time, dammit) taked to McGrath about pretty much everything you can imagine, from the last American rock god to freezing with sharks. Once upon a time he played before cheering crowds as frontman of the punk-metal band Sugar Ray, but now Mark McGrath is appearing in front of a much smaller crowd -- and he's not the one doing the singing -- as the host of the second season of truTV's "Killer Karaoke."
Premiering Thursday, Feb. 20, the eight episodes of "Killer Karaoke" feature contestants being put through outrageous trials -- during shooting, one of them crashes right through a bookcase but lives to tell the tale -- while singing karaoke.
Designed to tap into contestants' deepest fears, the challenges range from the ridiculous (being assaulted by giant bears) to the gross (dead fish), but the final winner who can keep singing and stay true to the lyrics takes home a $10,000 prize.

Natalka Znak will leave Zodiak USA at the end of her contract next month. Znak moved to Los Angeles from her native Britain in early 2010 to become Evp of then-Rdf USA and was named Chief Creative Officer in March of that year, shortly after Grant Mansfield joined the company as CEO. Last June, Znak was upped to CEO, replacing Mansfield who returned to the UK. Then in July, Zodiak Media consolidated its production businesses in North, Central and South America, including Zodiak USA, into Zodiak Americas and tapped Jonny Slow as Zodiak Americas CEO. “Natalka has been a fantastic producer and leader for us over the past three years,” Slow said. “We’re sorry to see her go, and wish her the best in her future endeavors.” At Zodiak USA, Znak sold around 20 shows, and will continue to work on several projects until her exit. She won’t be replaced.

It's been a while since we've seen Steve-o (of "Jackass" fame) in all his glory.
While he's not engaging in hardcore stunts this time around, he's having the time of his life watching others feel the pain. As host of "Killer Karaoke," a new game show that has contestants try to sing their favorite tunes while horrible things happen to them, Steve-o is front and center for the action. We're hard-pressed to think of anyone more qualified to host a game show of this type. Who else could you envision laughing aloud while people have skunks spray in their face or deal with snakes coiling around their hands?
HuffPost TV Canada caught up with Steve-o and chatted about "Killer Karaoke," how his sobriety is going, and why he's the "white trash Ryan Seacrest."

Steve-o survived reality television and addiction, and now, life is but a song.
Born Stephen Glover, Steve-o first gained fame in 2000 for doing outrageous things on MTV's reality show "Jackass," which spawned three feature films.
His "Jackass" co-star Johnny Knoxville and other crew from the show later staged an intervention to help Steve-o recover from drug and alcohol abuse. After a stint in rehab, he became a vegan and now has been clean and sober since 2008.
In 2009, he went from reality host to reality-competition contestant, lasting six weeks on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" with professional partner Lacey Schwimmer. Then, in 2011, he released an autobiography, "Professional Idiot: A Memoir."
Now, rather than performing dangerous stunts and battling his own demons, Steve-o is instead challenging contestants to overcome their fear of singing a karaoke song while being put through hilarious and unexpected physical challenges.

Host Steve-o watches as the singers attempt to hit the notes and complete the tasks, because karaoke isn’t uncomfortable enough as it is!
Don’t worry, though, the winner gets to take home $10,000 — so it isn’t all that bad.

The Jackass prankster is the presenter of upcoming gameshow Killer Karaoke, in which contestants are reportedly sprayed with water to distract them as they try to belt out their favourite hits for the cameras.

Ohman alleges she has had to undergo extensive surgery as a result of her injuries, and she is facing further operations in the future.
