A Great Indie
mikejamesmann14 January 2012
This is a wonderful Independent film about Hope, Blood and Truth. The film follows a college- age agnostic who unwillingly acquires the wounds of Christ...Stigmata! His lack of faith is tested as he meets an ANGEL, Limpwings, so named because of his lack of flight, and discovers that he may be humanity's last hope. That is if he can abandon his own beliefs... This story explores the virtues and downfalls of faith, as well as the reasons in which taking faith blindly may be incorrect. The ultimate message however is one of hope. It is very well written and directed and is better than most low-budget films on all counts. If you can find a copy, you will enjoy it, and hopefully take something from it as well. Highly recommended!

Bicycle repairman meets God

Excellent work for "first time" producer/director/writer/composer etc. (though there is obviously a lot of back story to all of the above; this is NOT a rookie job!). Interesting plot line, quirky characters, unforeseeable twists and all shades of humor. For a low budget effort, this has a good chance at, if not winning a few festival awards, some sort of distribution deal. I was dog tired when they rolled film, battling a month long cold and past old people's bed time. All ingredients for a slumber party @ The Fargo Theater but it held my interest and I didn't nod off once! (I have been known to go to sleep at the start of "Upcoming Trailers" and be awoken by theater staff telling me it is time to go...NOT good reflection on whatever it was I was attempting to watch). I liked the film, the obvious enthusiasm and craftsmanship of the primary personnel. Two thumbs up here or a solid 8 on the ten scale for the digitally challenged. Good luck boys!
