Although this is more of a niche film I would recommend this movie as a watch for its intended audience.

The film, Don't Blow My High(2022) presents a story of a stoner and his best friend on the way to a 420 festival. This story tells the coming of age of a young African American marijuana smoker as he tries to balance his need for freedom with the world's pressure for him to grow up. Any young man with an inner struggle to find himself would like this film. After taking his girlfriend's car without her permission to attend a 420 festival, the main character is put through a series of events that will change his viewpoint of life forever. Although this isn't the biggest budget film the producer does make the best of the equipment used to create it. The film has a more reality based structure making use of real world scenarios that the average weed smoker may find himself in. Overall I would give the film a 7.5 on a 10 rating scale. Where it lacks in production quality it definitely makes up for in comedic value. The plot starts a little slow at the beginning but does seem to pick up steam once the story starts to unfold. Although this is more of a niche film I would recommend this movie as a watch for its intended audience. I do think the filmmaker made use of what he was working with on a lower budget to tell a more believable story that any stoner can understand and resonate with. I think where a lot of films go wrong is trying to create some bigger than life storyline at the expense of believability.

I just can not believe how good this movie is. Excellent actors, excellent dialogues, unbelievably good story-line, sets, costumes, atmosphere, camera, cuts, music etc, etc, etc. Well worth going to see had all the stuff I wanna see in the movie like this keep them coming! I was engaged the entire time and I thourougly enjoyed it. The cast was incredible. The plot was intriguing. Overall great movie that I strongly recommend. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. You'll be glad you watched it. Don't think you will be disappointed. I can't wait and I hope it never ends. I highly recommend a watch!
