Question

Warning: Spoilers
Did I miss an episode where the Salvatore brother's house no longer belonged to Elena? Elena was given the house in Season 2 as a Safe house. However in this episode Rebekah tells Elena to leave several times. However Elena signed the deed so it's hers. Unless I missed the episode where it was given back to Damon and Stefan?

Magical Episode!!
Veriiitas4 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was Great, at one side it was very emotional and at another it was quite revealing as the Originals back story is finally revealed.

Most of the episode is Story telling, though there are some Surprises here and there, Rebekah looks Gorgeous as ever as She tells her Story to Elena about how they all became Vampires.

The episode revolves more around the Originals and the Main cast of the Show, many of the other cast members are absent unfortunately..

Elena and Damon definitely have Great chemistry in this episode, especially at the ending part.

Overall this is a Wonderful episode, i Give it 10 out of 10

The Original Witch and the Truth about the Family's Curse
claudio_carvalho16 November 2013
Alaric, Elena and Damon explore the tunnel under the Lockwood real estate and Alaric shows ancient carved hieroglyphs telling stories in runic of werewolves and the names of Niklaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Mikael. Alaric takes pictures and tries to decipher what is written. Elena seeks out Rebekah and asks about Mikael, who is in a cemetery in Charlotte. Rebekah invites Elena to meet her and tells the story of her family, the truth about the curse and the surprising identity of the Original Witch. Damon releases Stephan and they go to Mystic Grill to have fun; out of the blue, Mikael joins to them asking where Klaus is.

"Ordinary People" tells the story of the Original Family, the Original Witch and the truth about the curse and Mikael's hatred with Klaus. Nina Dobrev keeps the same inexpressive face, as usual, no matter she is happy, sad, in love, jealous, grieving or whatever. My vote is seven.

brother bonding and originals flashbacks were the only highlights
jackDee-5656527 December 2020
I liked Damon and Stefan brother bonding at the bar, the originals flashbacks were great, TVD always get a A for effort on flashbacks, on to the bad Rebecca was such a pain from the gross cheerlead practice to feeding on those girls wearing dresses, I kinda felt a little bad about her whole sob story but overall her annoyance really makes it less effective

Rebekah learns the truth
vivianla28 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Elena goes to Rebekah as she practices cheerleading and mentions Mikael's location.

Elena says Rebekah is a cheerleader now and it will just take some mean girl butting to get her to talk.

Elena shows up at the Salvatore house where Rebekah has a group of cheerleaders wear homecoming dresses. She asks Elena to pick one for her to wear.

Damon lets Stefan free and they go to a bar. They dance and drink with girls. Mikael shows up and Stefan shows his humanity by saving Damon's heart.

Elena wears a red cami as she heads to bed. Damon is in her bed again with the teddy bear. She gives up and lies next to him. She closes her eyes and asks if she can tell him the rest tomorrow. He replies sure and stares at her.
