The movie excelled in all aspects, be it dialogues, acting, cinematography or storyline. I loved the way Euthanasia/Mercy Killing was argued and represented in the movie.
Most people would connect with the movie or understand the concept if they have either personal or professional experience in similar situations. This movie is quite similar to a Holly wood movie - "Million Dollar Baby."

Nirvana 13 revolves around a social issue in a very systematic manner. The problem statement is well defined and as we delve deeper, we observe the finest of the details in a very lucid manner. Each and every prop, event and action seems to be crisp, adequately placed and most of them have a meaning attached. I love this artistic way of storytelling where the audience are made to engage themselves and leaves the show with various perspectives to arrive to a solution. All in all, I will say great work Team Nirvana 13.

The script is very strong ..with few words both Naseer and Mariam leave the impact of agony and pain which both of them are undergoing in their lives daily ...A very thought provoking movie about dignity in life and ones will to die in case of serious life limiting illness /situation .The end is the most exciting part of the movie .....The song is beautifully composed with impactful words ...depicts the true management and truth of cycle of life and death ...Kudos to whole team ...This movie will be unforgettable for anyone who watches this ...
A masterpiece...

Very intense...even more when watching without any distraction... The subject has been dealt with beautifully....The spectacle in the movie is the way Naseer manages to get the things done in his favour. Cinematography at many occasions especially in the beginning is awesome... overall a masterpiece 👍.
Good Work!! Really interesting

I really like the movie, after a long time I will remember a movie not by the hook step of any song but by the story line. The best part of the movie is the climax and the question continuesly running in my head till the climax is she gonna kill him? will he be able to manipulate her till an extent that she will kill him......
Beautiful song well composed and sung. Looking forward for more such kind of movies.

I dont normally watch movies but my son showed me Nirvaan song ... "mrid se juda tha"... I realized that this movie might be special, meaningful and can be watched.
Death is a very delicate subject which if shown properly can establish a direct contact with the audience. Nirvaan handles the subject very maturely. It shows death as a part of life and an essential end which relieves one of all worldly miseries and troubles.
The best thing is Nirvaan emotionally attaches with an individual and explains life and death in a very simple way. The word death does not create a havoc here which we normally shun to talk about.
Every dialogue is full of emotions and meaning and there are layers to it. The audience may go down to any layer and contemplate accordingly.
I liked the acting of the patient.... who managed manipulating nurse's mind to get back something which was his very own right. Nirvaan is a good attempt at showing how difficult it can be to get death when it is required most.

Warning: Spoilers
Something out of the box.... the Director did a brilliant work in displaying issue like euthanasia which has always been a matter of debate in country like India. I also liked Guzaarish earlier. As a lawyer, I have always argued on this topic with friends and it is good to see most of my thoughts reflected in the movie. Even some dialogues of the movie seems to be based on sound legal propositions which can be used as an argument before the court of law. The dialogue "Na God, na Allah..." and "Main kisi bhi situation ka faayda utha sakta hun" are the core of this movie.

This movie is a nuclear bomb. Looks like this was constrained by resources and meant for film festivals and select targeted viewing. But hats off, so much energy in such a small bundle! I m sure that those who like such kind of artwork will watch this over and over again.

William Wallace once said, "Every man dies. Not every man really lives."
Nirvana 13... the movie has wonderfully described such a 'spiritual', 'philosophical' and 'psychological ' relationship within a modest framework. The director deserves an applause.
Only thing is the audience should have interest in such kind of movies which are different from conventional masala stuffs. Also, I believe that the doctors' fraternity can relate and should watch. I will recommend it to my friends.

I watched Nirvana13 a good 24 hours back and I am still not able to think anything else except the movie. This is a rare piece of art.
The actors has raised the bar for themselves after their performances. The actors has completely gone under the skin of the character and did a justice to their characters.
Jitin Rawat has woven some wonderful moments together in this rare piece of art, which deserves appreciation. Every frame is beautifully presented and it works like a visual treat to the audience.
Thank you Jitin Rawat for giving a film which will be remembered for its quality & art, and not the numbers on the box office chart or OTT platforms.
I highly recommend this movie to everyone who adores the magic of sensitive cinema.

My Nirvana Movie Review

Mind blowing and Spectacular! How often do we see a universe of thoughts and emotions wallowing as a stream of words... and meandering end to end across a conversation alone? And then... still we see those ups and downs, twists and turns and a social message or what have you!
Kudos to Team Nirvana 13
While watching the teaser, I was stumped realizing how a nurse approaching a dying patient started giving me goosebumps. Someone was going to fight someone else's death, dear.... perfect strangers they seemed though. Or Hey! do you mean it represented us being fascinated towards something worldly and perishable? Bhagwad Gita, nurse's crucified posture, and so on gave me a conviction that I was into something deep and meaningful and the movie proved me right - such an air of positivity with a subject, as sensitive as death. The movie is rightly paced but the audience might find this slow unless they presume they are going to come across something amazing and start examining finer details... more meticulously like Naseer's haircut. Think!
Then, I see some empathy here for an often ignored lot. There are increasing cases of individuals suffering from depression, eventually taking an extreme step. We wish we could have talked more to them... the catch here is... while they are still alive, their grief is not as palpable as the ones who are visibly handicapped. Movies like Nirvana 13 must be encouraged as they listen to and empathize with victims of depression as well.
Talking of the lead characters, while Anu went performing beyond expectations, I guess Sandeep Kulkarni had a time of his life performing this role. What acting, what expressions, what intensity, Sir... and that too... within the constraints of a vegetative state. I would definitely like to know if there is any of Sandeep's performance better than this. Coz this one's second to none.
Net net... Nirvana 13 is a perfect example of SO MUCH with limited but just right resources. So I will keep mum about the filmmaker and save my words. Hats Off, Jitin Rawat!
