STEPMOTHER series has an off-day (after a great 2-part opening) with the 3rd volume titled TROPHY WIFE, but the star-power and unique presence of Lisa Ann, well-cast in the title role, saves the day.
I was a bit dismayed to see this rated so highly by fellow IMDb-ers, but they haven't chimed in on the better editions of the Sweet Sinner saga, so I suspect it's the Lisa Ann fan club at work.
Video opens with the camera panning around the artifacts of nuptials, including a big slice of wedding cake to focus on Lisa Ann, very dramatically removing her white gown to reveal those massive moneymakers. Small talk (and plot this time out) is kept to a minimum as she and hubby Randy Spears do the wedding night thing, ending with a money shot on her breasts (natch).
Spears' son from a previous marriage is coming home to stay with them (ex-wife insists) and Lisa Ann takes great exception to this, since Randy promised her that his kids were grown and out of his hair. She and step-son Dane Cross take an immediate dislike to each other and the story threatens to get interesting, but no such luck.
A scene identical with a later Sweet Sinner opus starring Magdalene St. Michaels (I think it was MOTHER EXCHANGE 2), has Lisa Ann in the kitchen watching Dane shooting hoops outside with his buddy Joey Brass. She gets to meet the bare-chested boy, who charmingly calls her "Ms. Spears", a wonderful acknowledgment of the porn practice of actors using their stage names for their character names, but in this case she married "Randy Spears" so that makes her "Mrs. Spears".
Joey discusses his meeting with Lisa when he's with his girl friend Sara Stone and then they have sex. I had previously seen her perform in a Jules Jordan video appropriately titled BREAST WORSHIP, and the scene is quite arousing, largely because she has huge natural breasts (in contrast to Lisa's lovable but hard and fake ones), ending with Joey shooting outside her vagina.
Vignette 3 has Sweet Sinner go-to MILF Michelle Lay on the phone, telling Lisa that "age is just a number" as she questions whether the new bride is really happy with Randy and encourages her to try out some young stuff. Lay practices what she preaches, humping Alan Stafford (7 years younger than her per IMDb). Stafford and Brass were the male leads and war buddies in another wonderful SS video THE SOLDIER.
Part 4 inevitably has Joey and Lisa get together for a hot roll in the hay. with the proviso "I won't tell Dane if you don't". Video ends with a first-person camera looming beyond the half- open door after Joey cums on her belly, and with ominous music to match we see Dane watching - what will happen next? This is not a cliffhanger, but rather open-ended - Julia Ann starred in STEPMOTHER 4.
Okay with solid sex, but a STEPMOTHER saga lacking the conflict and suspense I've become accustomed to from Nica Noelle.
