The aftermath of the surfing accident is handled a lot better than the lead-up as Ruby takes charges and prove pretty competent, making the lecture from Charlie pretty redundant.After a week of the show writing Xavier and April as incompatible, it's nice to get a few scenes showing that the spark's still there, they still care about each other and they're still extremely cute.And Dexter is actually supportive of them...at least until the last scene where he decides to throw a spanner in the middle of a decent friendship scene and spark off a worrying reaction from April.It's a shame also that this episode seems to see the exit of the appealing Kate.
