Great stories
jannitanska29 September 2023
The documentary offers an interesting view at life in the EU bubble. It focuses on the stories of three women and how they balance their careers and private lives in a hectic and busy environment. It was an interesting watch and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the EU, especially if a EU career is something you dream of!

There is a lot of talk about being in a EU bubble and how people working there get drawn in and almost trapped. Working very long days is normal and stress levels are high, yet still the work is worth the sacrifice. The stories were interesting and very real. It was interesting to see how daily life in the EU is and to get a closer look at the people working there!

Captivating story from three perspectives

The documentary reveals a great deal of the day to day of working in the Brussels sphere. I think it also helps a lot to look at politicians, civil servants and journalists from a more human side.

Chaotic schedules, packed lunches and problems in family life. Help highlight the issue of not just a career in Politics but the high emphasis that we in the 21st century have for a successful career.

Overall the documentary is extremely interesting for a person considering the Brussels bubble. Perhaps even the work schedules and day to day is applicable to other political and government positions.

Nadine van Loon has created an excellent documentary that is a must watch for young professionals aspiring for a career in government affairs.
