Don't let them fool you! Last year, they used the name "Martha Argrich" to sell tickets at Mannheim, germany, 12.22.2022, and a few days before the concert, they emailed that she was sick and wouldn't play! Instead, they replaced her with another pianist. The interesting part was that they refused to give refunds to people who bought tickets simply because Marta Argrich played and therefore did not attend the concert. Then they were nice enough to offer a 25 euros credit for the next purchase! I am a pianist and I can play the repertoire myself. The ONLY reason I spent nearly 200 euros on those tickets was to see Marta Argerich play. Another issue is that many people bought tickets in person and didn't even know that the pianist had been replaced! We even went to the box office (like lots of other people) and got them to sign the tickets that we didn't attend the concert, but it was all a big lie just to sell tickets and literally rob people.
I don't think Ms. Argerich knows about this (at least I hope so) but she should.. No one can abuse an artist's name this way and then not be responsible for it.
