I wanted to enjoy this but even at 50 minutes it dragged.
Despite Kingi's domestic background it was difficult to sympathise with with him as developed his "angry young man" "chip on his shoulder" persona.
The acting was pretty dire and the sound was poor.
I liked the idea but it hardly helped the 1982 Maori view on the world.
