Ho-hum early porn feature for John C.
lor_3 October 2011
You know it dates from early in porn history by the intro stressing the "informational" content of this supposed dramatization of the "New Morality", focusing on swinging couples. Result is routine and dull porn.

Opening scene emphasizes full-frontal nudity and split beaver-shots, so beloved in 1969/1970 X-rated product. Paula defers to her blond hubby Byron's wish to swing as we see them hump softcore style -film proves to be strictly soft.

At work John Holmes (as Bill) lectures co-worker Byron about his own swinger lifestyle and invites secretary Georgia (who resembles future XXX star Dianne Galke) into his office to show Byron her big jugs. She does a nice striptease prior to a softcore threesome, including quite fake simulated fellatio.

Paula and Byron host Bill and his wife June for a wing session on a very cheap studio set purporting to be their living room. Despite the casting of soon-to-be-legendary John Holmes, no cocks are shown on camera in the entire film.

June (Sheri Jackson) has pretty breasts but is stuck wearing a horrible wig -she looks like Becky Sharpe on a bad day. The next party is at Bill's place, for a seven-person orgy including Georgia plus guests Donna (porn pioneer Judy Angel) and her man Hank. Lesbian sex pairs Donna with June, while mustachioed Hank makes out with nervous Paula.

Film ends with the narrator intoning about the characters' fates: Paula and Byron divorcing, June & Bill celebrating an eighth wedding anniversary, and Hank getting married to Georgia.

As usual, the Secret Key/After Hours Cinema folks who packaged this for DVD release tampered with the film, presenting it in the wrong ratio as a "widescreen" movie, removing the original music track (and with it some of the dialog). In addition, near the end a scene seems to be shown out of order compared to the surrounding footage. That's film preservation, baby!
