Hello PBS programmers do us all a favor go to YouTube find a video posted by any teenage girl with no more than 10 views and guaranteed the girl is a thousand times more articulate, photogenic and talented than Elizabeth Stanton. Whatever bigwig she is related to should be beyond embarrassed. The blank screen high pitched long beep weekly emergency test is more entertaining.

Elizabeth needs to be fired from her own show

Words cant say enough... this show is horrible. Elizabeth... stupidly called Lizzy, is so awful at her chosen profession that she should be fired from her own show. I have never understood why pointless shows like this get funding. Furthermore she talks when no words are needed. Her narrating is so god awful that it's borderline corny and used just to fill out the shows 30 minute running time. Her co-host is somewhat better than her but still comes off as a second mouth piece reiterating the same unneeded corny words from Lizzy. I pray that someone at her production company will get a clue and cancel the series. Please do everyone a favor TV land and fire Lizzy and keep her off television!

The first time I saw her, it was only a promo for her show and right then I said (to myself) "This girl is horrible". Her accents all seem to be on the wrong syllable, which is not only annoying, but an obvious sign she cant act.. She always sounds like she's talking to a little kid. My first thought was "Whos daughter is she?" because the only way she could have gotten this gig was if she was related to some TV bigwig.. Then I saw her again recently on another program that impressed me so little that I cant even remember what it was, but she was terrible at it. So, honestly...who's daughter is she? 😉

I don't know which Hollywood producer's daughter this is, but she is to Rick Steves what witless trash is to Rick Steves.
This unfortunate evidence of the "dumbing down of America" would seem to be anathema to PBS. Unfortunately, you sometimes get what you pay for. Public television sometimes relies on programing that is donated to stations FOR FREE, as Rick Steves does, incidentally. I saw this program air at 7:00 AM on a Saturday morning- not exactly prime time, but was still appalled that it was approved to air by WTTW here in Chicago (the city's local PBS affiliate). WTTW actually has three channels on RCN cable downtown, which apparently is one too many if there is even a half hour slot once a week which they need to fill with this idiocy. I'd suggest at least moving it to the coveted 4:30am slot!
On the plus side, if this girl can get her "show for the slow" aired, then maybe I should reconsider a career as a rock star or NFL quarterback, because apparently, anything is possible.

This is a great show for 7-9 year old girls. Thats it, nothing more to say. Should not be watched by anyone else or they will immediately lose 50 IQ points. It looks produced by this girl herself with a hand-held camera that she jumps in front of once in awhile or gets her friend to sit in front of it and do this kinda of MTV thing were she looks pretty and make dumb remarks. This should not ever be on the air as its just a big commercial for teen pop star (or whatever its called) magazine. I was going to let it go at that but they require 10 lines of text for a review. So if your wanting to watch a teen infomercial of dunder headed 16 year old girls running around and making what looks like should be shown close circuit at the local middle school then this is for you

I am determined to not be mean in my reviews because I know that anyone who has created a video has put in some effort and I appreciate that.
Also, I have only seen a few of these episodes while scanning channels, so this isn't a review of the entire series.
However, there is one episode which I saw yesterday that I had to comment about. It was titled "German Adventures" (Season 8, Episode 1).
This episode was mainly about touristy things to do in Berlin and one of the main segments was about the Berlin Wall. It was a typical segment until, on multiple occasions, Elizabeth remarked that the Berlin Wall had been built to "Separate People" from East and West Berlin.
All I can say is, Elizabeth, please take some more history classes about the Cold War and please, if you ever go back to Berlin, report that the wall was built by the East German Communist Government in the early 1960's to keep an increasing number of people from East Berlin (and East Germany) from defecting to West Berlin.
These East Germans were not just trying to go to West Berlin because they were "separated" from their family and friends. They risked death and major injury from East Berlin solders brutally shooting at them with machine guns as they tried to make it across the wall to West Berlin because they didn't want to live in the "communist paradise" that had been established in East Germany with the help of the USSR (please look that country up, now relegated to the "Dustbin of History", if you haven't heard about it).
If this is series being shown on any PBS station, there should be a disclaimer about not using this in any way, shape, or form as a part of a school's history classes.

I had to literally renew my IMDB password to rate this show! What is everybody's deal?! It's a travel show and Elizabeth made it fun to see places I haven't been to! And her friends are fun tagalongs as well. Elizabeth is really cute and likeable; and, it's a travel show...RELAX!!!
