Sex & Nudity

  • A dead man is seen nude, with full rear nudity in many episodes and full frontal nudity in several episodes. No female nudity.
  • Two men kiss during sex with some male rear nudity seen.
  • A woman was on the ground completely nude in a non-sexual context. Private parts are not shown.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is seen killing himself with a gun to the head.
  • A girl is forced to inhale chloroform.
  • A man buries a child whom he is presumed to have shot (not seen).
  • A character shoots himself with a gun in his mouth, the scene is fully displayed on screen and there is much blood spatter .
  • A woman bites her own tongue off and spit it out of her mouth, letting blood flowing down her chin.
  • An autopsy is performed. We see the body's scalp removed and the brain taken out. Very gory and graphic.
  • A child is murdered by poisoning. We see foam coming out of the mouth.
  • Several people are murdered by gunshot. We see entry wounds and copious blood, but no exit wounds.

Profanity

  • Very little swearing in any episode.
  • Several f-words in first episode.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several characters smoke, usually cigars. Several characters drink alcohol, but it is very brief, and it isn't the focus of anything.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Bodies are seen with their left eye missing. There are several instances of blood spatter.
  • A séance scene is quite scary and intense.
