Warning: Spoilers
No humanity Hope got scarier after torturing Aurora and killed the citizen of Mystic Fall. Im glad that Lizzie and Aurora teams up to find gods for MIND BLOWING reason! I means I am dying to see if they can do that to undo.....everything? Im still glad that Aurora is still alive! Good EPISODE! Its gave me the vampire diaries season 6 or season 7 vibe.

Fun!

I absolutely loved when the scene changes to the bar in hell! Alaric, The Ted (lol. I love this guy!), and others are all dancing to the Hipcats song. And Landon is just sitting alone looking board and then downs a shot of liquor! Hahahahaha.

The Necromancer carries the episode
Katatonia13214 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What I really loved about this episode was the Necromancer coming back. His character is always great to watch, but it doesn't come without problems. Up until now it was about the three becoming friends and trying to find a way out together. Alaric was never a likable character however in this episode he becomes even more unlikable by betraying his two mates only to find a way out of limbo alone. What's odd that his betrayal is treated like a redemption arc. The Necromancer is forced to serve the Genie alongside Landon and his powers are limited to solely bringing Landon and Alaric back from the dead. His final wish is void, because unlike Ted the Necromancer doesn't want to go to peace. Alaric made sure, that he can only wish for that. Landon then threatens the Necromancer by telling him he will make sure, that he goes to peace one day due to the promise he made to Ted. Given how much the Necromancer helped the two for half the season their betrayal doesn't make much sense. It's a good example of Legacies never being capable of doing a deep storyline and for it's inconsistent storytelling. But good thing about this the Necromancer is finally back. However one season later the writers still don't bother with explaining his amnesia. His sudden change of character and his suicide last season always felt forced since the writers failed to give any reasons for why Ted wanted to die or go to peace. It's sad, because he's a great character that deserves better treatment. Legacies always finds a way to revolve around Landon so I fear this will happen here too. This storyline will fail, if it's just a means to make Landon shine. Posing as if he helps the Necromancer, while Landon just disregards his wishes. After all the Necromancer is Ted so Landon needs to accept his change of mind instead of demonizing him. Right now Landon's promise feels like a cheap way to get rid of the Necromancer. That his character is only a means to make Landon shine. Since friendship was a theme this plot can only suceed, if the Necromancer and Landon eventually work together resulting in Landon accepting Teds Necromancer side or if the Necromancer goes back to being a villain, but also getting some wins. Seeing him go back to the real world and take revenge on Alaric would be satisfying to watch.

Also I wonder, if people can wish themselves to peace or if Landon is doing the entire job, whats the point of redemption? If someone else makes up for your sins? Proves how much the show revolves around Landon and how bad it is for the show. Because it's only about him, but not about true redemption or regret. Also how do they make up to their victims if they only help random people they've never met? This entire idea is a mess. I sure as hell don't want to loose the Necromancer's character to such a cheap storyline. His character is more than capable of scheming his way out of it, but whenever Landon is there characters are downgraded. Or writers always find a way to turn off the Necromancer's powers despite contradicting what was stated about his powers in earlier episodes. I overall wonder, why the writers want to keep the Necromancer dead so bad, but are keen on keeping other useless characters.

As for the main plot, it's inconsistent too. One time Lizzie wants to be Hope's slave due to the sirebond, next episode she easily breaks it and wants to go far away from Hope. Then she randomly teams up with Aurora, sure why not? No humanity Hope got a little bit more interesting because she killed an innocent guy now, but overall there's no real storyline going on. Hope is just traveling around without making the story progress. Gods sound boring so far. Since time travel is a thing now, I hope Legacies goes back in time where the story still made some sense and characters were treated better.

Timetravel. The answer to everything
domarlps11 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I think we can all agree that there are no stakes in Legacies. People do not stay dead, when someone did something very awfull, the next episode they are all acting as if nothing happened and there are no real consequences in this show. Now if they really do the timetravel plot, then even the minor consequences like Hopes hole no-humanity arc and the fallout of it will be for nothing.

Next up the Limbo Arc... Oh boy was it boring. Since the beginning of this Arc it sucked out the excitement of each episode and I really felt it in this episode where it was a huge part of the episode. I would have really liked the other part of the episode, but everytime it got exciting they switched back to this boring Limbo Arc...

Next up the sire-bond. Well that did not last long. Last episode Lizzie literally begged Hope to not take it away and now Lizzie just struggled a bit and it is gone, where it is said that it is extreme difficult to break a sire-bond.

I only enjoyed the last part where we finally saw Hope feed and maybe struggled with her humanity coming back and forcing it back down? It felt like tvd and to.
