The story arc follows the main character through his evolution from ordinary man to reluctant anti hero.
Without giving anything away in the plot, the main character is a down and out everyman, a decent guy just looking to make a descent living when becomes involved in a conspiracy, not unlike that in The Star Chamber starring Michael Douglas.
