An excellent short family film.

I loved this short film. It's an inspiring, nice, clean story involving two teens seeking answers to a basic mystery. At a time when most films have too much violence or sex, this refreshing movie does not use either one to tell the story. The teens are two "normal" adolescents trying to find answers to a question that pulls at your heart. Both Gabrielle Blumentti and Max Ary are very good actors, believable in their roles and do a great job pulling you into their characters. The story, written by Gabrielle, is interesting and easy to follow. The style of the film reminded me of some classic European short films that centers on the story and the characters, instead of props and special effects. This is a movie that young people will really enjoy and parents will appreciate. I recommend it.

Well-crafted story

I was invited to the cast and crew screening of the highly anticipated short film "The Key" written by Gabrielle Blumetti and directed by Jim Blumetti. This is a remarkable story about healing and our main character played beautifully by Gabrielle in her debut film. Her performance is one that I would describe as honest and pure. The acting in this short film is well-crafted and every character is portrayed beautifully.

The cinematographer is stunning and compliments this films, its signature look is well thought-out and sets a tone for the film that is memorable.

Jim Blumetti directorial debut is a beautiful woven piece with characters that leap from the screen and become a part of the real world. I believe this is a team to watch and I can't wait to see what the Blumetti's bring to the cinematic world next.
