I watched this when it premiered on Discovery a week or so ago. This is a show which focuses on the relocation of unwanted exotic animals from run down animal parks to better sanctuaries. The state that some of these animals are in is quite awful and it begs the question of how difficult or should I say easy it seems to be to get a dangerous animals license in certain states in the US.
Our host deeply cares about the welfare of the animals involved and it is a joy to see them in their new homes. As a former zookeeper I was in tears at the way some of the animals were being kept.
For people out there who are considering keeping exotic pets, have a good long hard think about how large these animals will grow.
