The House Hermit
a_baron29 May 2014
This is the story of the hunt for David Snow, whose crimes include the murder of a middle aged couple, kidnapping and rape. These crimes though horrendous are far from bizarre, but the behaviour of the man known as the House Hermit was bizarre in the extreme.

The documentary makers speak to officers and reporters who worked on the case; there are reconstructions and musings on his state of mind. Snow was arrested in July 1992, and the Canadian authorities took steps to ensure that he will never be released in spite of his receiving a tariff of only 25 years for the murder of Ian and Nancy Blackburn. Few would question the wisdom of those measures.
