Above average season finale.

Season 7 is far more entertaining than season 3. But remains regardless one of my least favorite seasons of the series. Two main events occurred in its final episode. First, Lynette and Tom, the flawed but indestructible couple of Wisteria Lane, decides to get a separation. Leading to most of the finale season revolving around this new situation. And Gabby faces her abusive stepfather. To be perfectly honest, I never liked this storyline. It was too out on left field for the Gabrielle character, to have been through such an ordeal. And the way it played out, with Carlos murdering him, and the housewives decision to keep it a secret, and hide his body in another trunk. Was one season 1 callback too many. Oh and Susan moved back in her old house, after Paul decided to pay for his crimes. But even that made her look irritating and self absorbed, when she assumed her friends didn't have a life and their own problems too. And would drop everything, the minute she arrived. The episode was good, and Renee was a great comic relief, but it was a little underwhelming, compared to the big thing it was set out to be, when it opened. Hopefully season 8 is better than I remember.
