I was pleased to come across this half-hour documentary while searching for movies on the Loch Ness Monster. This episode is about Boleskine House situated on the south-east bank of the loch and the owners of the property. A major part is about Aleister Crowley's ownership of the place and the ritual he cut short there while doing his magical work. It does sound a forbidding and haunted place but one of great fascination. Underground film fans will like surreal movie man Kenneth Anger telling of his stay there in 1969. He is greatly interested in Crowley as is Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page who bought Boleskine and owned it till 1992. I was surprised to hear of actor George Sanders' association with the place after falling prey to a pig farm scam. One man who has stayed the night at Boleskine relates details of paranormal activity there that sound like a scene from 'The Haunting' film. A former housekeeper tells of a grisly find and there is also some speculation about a walled-up spirit in the house. Revernd Willis is shown keen to have the house exorcised. So this is quite a fascinating history of Boleskine which has attracted people to it over the years but you won't catch me anywhere near the place.
