What to do if your stepdaddy is a sexual predator? That's the problem facing Carrie, played by that big-eyed starlet Lily Larimar in this MissaX release, a faux incest drama that suffers from both the casting of daddy and a mean-spirited script by director Ricky Greenwood's trusted screenwriter Maddy Burton.
Right from the outset the lengthy (51-minute) vignette is literally dominated by Brad Newman's evil character, interrogating and browbeating his stepdaughter over nothing -very obviously a way of manipulating her into having gonzo sex with him.
It doesn't help that the actor no longer is styled with a normal look but instead presents with his scraggly facial hair, evil eyes and stupid hairdo to resemble someone who needs to register as a sex offender rather than a loving dad. His protectiveness re: 21-year-old daughter Carrie dating or dressing inappropriately is clearly fake and self-serving: he wants the kid to put out for him.
It's difficult to sit through the 15-minute set-up of constant accusations and needling of Lily by Brad, until he gets more than handsy and has sex with her.
Actress Larimar is appealing as usual, but quickly reverts to status as capable sex worker, dropping her character in favor of high-energy XXX performance. Director Greenwood fails to rein in either player, not tamping down Brad's one-note baddie or encouraging Lily to remain credibly a sweet young thing.
