This Girlfriends Films series, recently rebooted for the VOD audience (DVDs being phased out), has scrapped its initial dramatic premise of cheating ladies and sparks naturally flying to become a radically dumbed down porn concept where "triangle" translates as threesome.
The four vignettes run four hours long, plenty of sex footage for the fans, but missing is that edge and story involvement of old. And casting contract star Serene Siren in two segments playing different characters is lazy.
Siren leads off opposite two more contract girls: Alyx Star and Aubree Valentine in a story that begins with okay dramatics. Aubree is cast as Serene's ex who is something of a stalker, popping up as your usual homewrecker. Naturally uber-busty Alyx is none too pleased, but a chat on a couch for A with A leads rapidly to the duo making out, joined by Serene for a hot and lengthy 3-way, with everyone soon sexually more than satisfied.
This is basically the format for all the scenes: invevitable "is everybody happy?" threesomes result. In her other role, Serene returns as a cheater, leaving on a business trip while her tall lover Caitlin Bell feels neglected. Turns out that Serene is away with a busty blonde (Madi Meadows) at a hotel, with the duo ready to get a couples massage. Instead Serene gives Madi a sexy rubdown, only to be interrupted by a mad-as-hell Caitlin who reads her the riot act. But moments later all three of them are covered in oil, going at it like rabbits. Go figure.
Eva Long gives a fine acting performance (rather serious given the otherwise frivolous nature of these vignettes) as busty redhead Lauren Phillips' lover, confronted with the reappearance of her half-sister (same dad, different mothers) Mona Azar. She confesses to Lauren that the siblings had a sexual affair back in the day, and casting cleverly has Eva and Mona physically resembling each other. SPOILER ALERT: Mona reveals the big news: they aren't related after all, as she's found out that they also have different daddies. That sigh of relief signals instant threesome time. This scene is notable for uncredited director B. Skow's fixation on Lauren's big behind, spotlighted in her tight leggings doing yoga exercises to begin the segment.
Remaining scene is the only one not to feature oodles of big boobs. It opens up in the bathroom of a dive bar, where tall Charlotte Sins is making out with Nicole Aria, latter complaining "we can't keep meeting like this", as Sins insists on only clandestine hook-ups with her. Reason is that Charlotte is cheating on fellow blonde Marilyn Johnson, finally admitting to MJ that she's bothered by the close lookalike resemblance they have to each other (imaginary) and feels uncomfortable making love to her, finding solace by seeing dissimilar petite brunette Nicole. SPOILER ALERT: Plot twist is fun if not credible: Johnson poses as Charlotte and in dim light makes love to Nicole, only to have the real Charlotte join them for a 3-way. Extreme suspension of porno disbelief is required to watch this scene.
