1. Ung does LDR with Yeonsu 2. Chaeran confesses to Jiwoong 3. Ung and Yeonsu live happily after.

I have to say that this was a decent ending. To be honest, this is one of my very first rom-com watches and I don't know what the standards are. I initially thought that it wasn't a great ending because there no longer was a conflict that drove the story. However, upon inspecting it more closely, I realized the underlying emotions of the characters were much more profound and subtle than I first saw. For Ung, he never tried for anything in his life because he was adopted and he felt that he should just be content in living his decent life without ever risking anything by trying. That has now changed and he goes abroad to study architecture, which shows a major growth in his character. He has now fully embraced his fears and his upbringing.

For Yeonsu, she always felt that she was alone in many cases and Ung was one of her constants. She often felt resentful of her life because of how rough it was. She even had a ripe opportunity to follow Ung to Paris and further her career there. But, she finally realized that her life was decent and she had people along the way that made it good so she didn't want to change it. In a sense, complete opposite of Ung. She always wanted to go forward, but now she looked back. He always wanted to look back and relax, but now he wants to go forward. At the crossroads they meet.

I did also love the whole semi-proposal scene. I thought that was very cute and endearing.

Overall, I thought the show was a strong 8. The performances of most, if not all casts were very well done and I love the warm atmosphere the visuals gave. I hate the fact that the OST was used so heavily but that's for every K-drama and they were good songs. I would definitely listen to them on a regular basis. I thought the characterizations and the depth of emotions were quite sophisticated throughout the series. The premise of the show was great and I think the showrunners did a great job showcasing the main character's growth in the past and the present, and within and outside the relationship as well. I felt that pacing and direction were faltering toward the end but I think they wrapped it up quite well. I'd recommend this show to anyone who, like me is new to K-drama, especially rom-com.
