"Modern Family" was great:"Leave it to the gays to raise the first underachieving Asian."

Warning: Spoilers
"Modern Family" had another great episode, this past Wednesday called "Unplugged." As always, there was out-of-this-world writing from creator Christopher Lloyd. The comedy was brilliantly acted by many great actors led by Ed O'Neill.

What happened in this episode? Jay (Ed O'Neill) becomes suspicious of Gloria (Sofia Vergara) when the neighbor's dog goes missing since she has a history of killing things in the past. Best Joke: Jay remembers back to a time when Gloria killed a rat and left the head out for the other rats as a message. Also, Claire (Julie Bowen) decides that her family needs a week which Phil (Ty Burell) accidentally turns into a competition of who can stay unplugged for the longest promising the very attractive Haley (Sarah Hyland) a car if she wins. Best Joke: Claire tells Phil because he's addicted to fantasy football that he has almost no faith in him winning and stopping Haley from getting the car. Finally, Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) panics when he finds out that Lily may fall behind because all of her friends started preschool, so Mitch and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) try to find a good preschool. Best Joke of the Episode: Mitch says "Leave it to the gays to raise the first underachieving Asian." In the end, Gloria only gave away the dog to her cousin, Haley wins but won't be getting a car, and Lily gets into a good preschool.

Anyway, "Modern Family" was superb as usual this week. New episodes of "Modern Family" are on Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC. "Modern Family" is my click-of -the week.
